Motorola.com was having a bit of an identity crisis. Coming in as the design lead for the web team, I worked with e-commerce and marketing departments to identify business needs, understand current site usage and areas of opportunity. Simply put, motorola.com needed optimization and a clearer balance of purpose - whether it is learning about our products or buying direct from us.
In collaboration with development and research teams, the site was optimized for better performance and increased exploration of our retail and customizable products. And to create a more unified and engaging product story across our portfolio, I worked closely with our brand team and partner agencies in asset production and content strategy. Ultimately, tighter collaboration across teams lead to increased sales on motorola.com.
